Coastal Credenza – Before & After

When we posted our original few pieces, we got a wonderful reaction and began working to source some clients early on in the wait list.  What has been particularly fun for me is that working directly with clients to meet their exact furniture needs, we can better customize a piece, color and finish depending on what room and function it will serve.

This coastal credenza transformation will be headed to its new family in Brunswick shortly.  It will be in a family room and serve as an updated sleeker toy and personal item storage solution.  This had to be a sturdy solid durable piece, prepared to hold heavy toys and books.  The metal slides on the drawer fronts will give it just that.  The client shared her wall color and we happen to have the same wall color in our living room, so I chose the perfect warm gray to complement and toned up the weathering to bring out more browns in the stain so the entire piece didn’t look washed out.  The hardware needed a refresh in darkened bronze and now this piece is ready to have a new life.

Before….

After!
